Unity uses a sleek silver fiberglass top layer; this gives the Dominion impact protection and loads of pop. A Carbon Fiber X runs from the end of effective edge, to just ahead of the front binding, giving the Dominion a stiff torsional platform. This is great for really laying into turns without the board washing out. The Carbon Fiber X ends behind the board's nose so that it's soft enough to absorb terrain and float well in the pow. Three full layers of rubber foil, around the board's perimeter, work in conjunction with shock absorbent sidewall material to dampen the ride; giving the Dominion the smooth, stable feel that Unity is famous for. With bulletproof sintered P-tex sidewalls, and a full-wrap steel edge, the Dominion takes a beating.
